1. What data we collect

1.1 Contact form submissions

When you submit a form on our website, we collect the information you provide:

  • Name
  • Company name
  • Country
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Project type selection
  • Message content
  • File attachments (if using the RFQ form)

1.2 Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics which is a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It does not:

  • Use cookies or local storage
  • Collect personal data
  • Track individual visitors
  • Fingerprint browsers

Cloudflare Web Analytics collects only aggregate, anonymized page-view data (page URL, referrer, country, device type, browser). No personal data is collected or stored by our analytics.

1.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) maintains standard server logs that may include IP addresses, request timestamps, and user-agent strings. These are processed by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy and are not accessible to MIDAS for individual visitor identification.

2. How we use your data

Data submitted via contact forms is used exclusively to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Prepare quotations and project proposals
  • Conduct business discussions related to your request

We do not:

  • Send marketing emails unless you explicitly request them
  • Sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
  • Use your data for automated decision-making or profiling

Under GDPR Article 6, we process your data based on:

  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to business enquiries and conducting B2B commercial activity
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — where you voluntarily submit a contact form
  • Contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)) — where processing is necessary for pre-contractual measures at your request

4. Data retention

  • Contact form submissions — retained for 24 months from the date of submission, then deleted unless an active business relationship exists
  • RFQ form file uploads — retained for 12 months, then deleted
  • Analytics data — Cloudflare Web Analytics retains anonymized aggregate data; no personal data is stored

5. Data sharing

Your data may be shared with:

  • Form processing service (Formspree Inc.) — processes form submissions on our behalf under their privacy policy and DPA. Data is transmitted via HTTPS and stored in compliance with GDPR.
  • Hosting provider (Cloudflare Inc.) — serves our website and processes server logs under their GDPR-compliant data processing agreement.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. International data transfers

Form submissions processed by Formspree may be stored on servers in the United States. This transfer is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR Chapter V.

7. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction — request limitation of processing
  • Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

8. Supervisory authority

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:

9. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. No cookie consent banner is required.

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our data practices or legal requirements. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be communicated via this page.
